Job Position – Cashier & Storekeeper (Maternity Cover)
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Accounting or a related field is mandatory.
Technical Skills:Strong computer knowledge is a must (proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems).
Experience: Candidates with 0 years of experience are welcome to apply, provided they demonstrate the required educational background and technical competency.
Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cashiering & Financial Management (Primary Focus)
Handle all cash, check, and electronic transactions accurately and in line with financial policies.
Issue official receipts for all payments and maintain meticulous transaction logs.
Manage and reconcile the petty cash fund, ensuring timely replenishment and proper documentation.
Perform daily cash balancing and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Prepare and submit regular financial reports regarding cash flow and transactions to the Finance Coordinator.
Maintain organized and secure filing systems for all financial documents and receipts.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
2. Storekeeping & Inventory Management
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods to ensure they match purchase orders.
Keep accurate inventory records for all receipts, issues, and returns.
Coordinate with departments to fulfill supply orders and track usage efficiently.
