Job Position- Senior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA in Accounting and Finance.
Experience4 year work experience in a senior accountant position;
Experience from manufacturing company is preferable;
Female applicants highly encouraged;
Skills: Proficiency in Peachtree, Excel, and local Ethiopian tax regulations (VAT, Withholding, Income Tax).
The senior accountant shall discharge the following responsibilities:-
Responsible for the statutory obligations of the company (e.g. VAT and tax declarations)
Ensure monthly and annual closing process is completed on time.
Prepare the monthly and annual financial reporting to the group.
Responsible for management of accounts payables and accounts receivables
Facilitate external/internal auditors and implement auditors’ recommendations.
Prepare cash forecast and cash flow statement on weekly basis.
Prepare payroll and schedule each financial activity in each month.
