Job Position- Logistics & Customs Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in logistics and customs operations.
Experience in technological items, manufacturing industries, or chemical industries is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian customs procedures and import/export regulations.
Proven experience in customs clearance finalization and documentation handling.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and logistics reporting.
Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage import and export logistics operations.
Handle customs clearance processes and ensure timely finalization of customs documentation.
Follow up shipments from origin to final delivery.
Communicate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and government offices.
Prepare and verify shipping and customs documents.
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian customs regulations and company procedures.
Manage logistics activities related to technological equipment, industrial machinery, chemicals, and manufacturing materials.
Monitor transportation schedules and resolve shipment-related issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate logistics and customs records and reports.
Requirement Skill
