Job Position-Senior HR Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education :Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or related field
Master’s Degree is an added advantage
Experience:Minimum of 3–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sector
Proven experience in performance management, policy development, and employee relations
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian Labor Law
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong communication and report writing ability
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and oversee daily HR operations
Lead recruitment and selection processes, including workforce planning
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and SOPs
Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling
Oversee performance management systems (KPIs, appraisals, improvement plans)
Coordinate training and development programs based on organizational needs
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Labor Proclamation and internal policies
Maintain and improve HR systems (leave, attendance, personnel records)
Prepare periodic HR reports and provide strategic recommendations
Support change management and organisational development initiatives
