Job Position-Termes of Reference for (TOR) For A Consultancy to Develop a Training Manual on Investigation and Documentation of Human Rights Violations for Accountability Processes and Deliver Capability Building Training based on the Training Manual
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Advanced university degree in law, human rights, or transitional justice.
At least 5-7 years of professional experience in documenting human rights violations, including Sexual Gender Based Violence.
Experience in developing and delivering capacity-building training for CSOs, in particular on documentation of human rights violations and SGBV, demonstrated through at least three major works. Applicants should provide references or examples of these works
Strong understanding of survivor-centered, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed approaches.
Familiarity with Ethiopia’s human rights, accountability process including national and international court litigation, strategic human rights litigation, transitional justice landscape.
Ability to work independently and respond to feedback in a timely and professional manner;
Experience in developing training manuals is an asset;
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and attention to details;
Excellent skill in written and spoken English;
