Job Position – Junior Finance Officer
Required qualification and Experience
Education: bachelor’s degree Accounting and Finance
Experience: 1-3 years of experience.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Basic understanding of Ethiopian tax regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties:
Help with data entry and reconciliation of accounts.
Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Collaborate with the accounting team on special projects as needed.
Clerical Finance Tasks:
Prepare and issue cheques for payments.
Receive and process receipts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain and update financial databases and filing systems.
Initiative approval processes
Assist settlement of monthly tax and pension obligations
Prepare procurement reports as per the requirement of tax authority
Scan and archive all financial documents (both in e- and Hard copy)
Preparing and issue withholding tax receipts
