Job Position-1 Proiect Management Intern

Required Qualification And Experience
Education
:Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field from a recognised higher education institution
Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Amharic.
Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated interest in project management, event coordination, communications, and development projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
Creative mindset with the ability to contribute to communication materials, social media content, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
High level of integrity, professionalism, reliability, and commitment to organizational values.
Demonstrated self-awareness, empathy, conflict sensitivity, and a non-judgmental attitude.

Job Position-2 Private Sector Development (PSD) Advisor

Required Qualification And Experience
Education
:MA in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Private Sector Development
Excellent knowledge of Afar, Amharic and English language both in speaking and writing.

Professional experience
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of private sector development with a focus on MSMEs, BDS, Access to Finance, direct experience in business membership organizations (associations) is an asset
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, including the preparation and management of contracts (ToR preparation, proposal development, liaising with contractual partners, etc.)
Profound knowledge of the private sector in Ethiopia and especially in Afar in particular the market for finance and BDS
Specialized experience in one or several of the following fields is a big asset: business linkages, business continuity management, green economy, investment planning and management, MSME access to financial services, digital transformation of businesses.
Expertise in approaches to the promotion of women-led businesses and service providers is an asset
Relevant professional experience in similar role in GIZ or other international organizations

Job Position-3 Advisor

Required Qualification And Experience
Education
:Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in education planning and management, vocational education, or similar fields.

Professional experience
At least 5 years of professional experience in TVET management, supervision, and administration of TVET institutions, and/or human resources management/development, preferably within the private sector.
Proven private sector professional experience, particularly in engaging with TVET institutions for the delivery of cooperative training, is advantageous.
Other knowledge, additional competencies
Business fluency in English and Amharic is required.
