Job Position-Communication Specialist
Required Qualification And Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
Graduated within the last two years.
A genuine passion for communications, storytelling, and content creation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong creativity and attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with social media platforms or graphic design tools is a plus.
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow in a fast-paced corporate environment.
What You’ll get to Do:
Assist in creating engaging content for internal communications, social media, newsletters, presentations, and the company website.
Support the planning and execution of communication campaigns, corporate events, CSR initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
Help develop communication materials, including articles, press releases, speeches, and digital content.
Monitor media coverage and industry news, preparing summaries and reports for internal stakeholders.
Assist in managing the company’s digital communication platforms by helping keep content accurate, relevant, and up to date.
Support media and stakeholder engagement activities, including maintaining communication databases and coordinating with external partners.
Work closely with different departments to gather stories, achievements, and updates across the business.
Contribute ideas for creative campaigns that strengthen BGI Ethiopia’s brand and reputation.
Participate in projects that enhance employee communication and organizational culture.
Learn communication planning, project coordination, and corporate communication best practices from experienced professionals.
