Position Title 1 – IT Infrastructure Technician

Skills And Abilities:
Strong administrative and record-keeping skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics in both English and Amharic. Effective communication skills with a wide range of technical and management personnel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as electronic diagnostic equipment, including drills, multimeters, tone generators, and network testers. General use skills in productivity applications including Microsoft Office. Ability to use professional diagramming software to create network topology diagrams and the ability to read and explain network topologies.
Duties
Installs, maintains, and supports Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and endpoints in US Government (USG) facilities, vehicles and official USG residences. Supports communications requirements for VIP visits and events at off-site locations. Maintains inventory and records of IT infrastructure, tools and endpoints. Perform hands-on tasks to install, maintain, and decommission IT wiring and infrastructure in USG facilities, vehicles, and USD-owned or leased residences, adhering to Department wiring standards. Infrastructure includes UTP, fiber, and coaxial wired and wireless networks supporting voice and data communication, television/media, audiovisual, radio and satellite communications systems.

Position Title 2 – Dispatcher – Employees of Mission
Education Requirements:Completion of secondary school is required.
Minimum of three years increasingly responsible experience in a motor pool or transportation fleet management is required. In addition Minimum of one year of supervisory experience is required.
Must have 3rd grade or equivalent Ethiopian driving license. Must have had a valid driver’s license for a minimum of five (5) years. (These may be tested)

Duties
Under the direct supervision of the Motor Pool Supervisor, schedule and dispatch all ICASS and participating USG-agency vehicles and drivers in accordance with post policies and requirements, to include regular service for U.S. direct hires, TDYers, newcomers, VIPs, and others as directed. Work with the Visitor Support Unit to coordinate ground movements for VIP visitors and delegations. Each dispatcher acts as the direct supervisor, overseeing the actions of and reviewing a team of 8-10 drivers. Create, assign, and close trip tickets. Coordinate the mileage readings for DriveCam Awards and for ICASS Workload counts for annual reports. Work as a travel arranger for the section. Incumbent serves as an incidental operator of official vehicles and meets all requirements outlined in 14 FAM 433 (including age, licensing, training, medical certifications, and safe driving standards).

Duties
Provides technical security support and services to posts in its respective geographic region. Manages the ESC/ESO inventory and is responsible for supply chain management, logistics operations, procurement, and inventory reconciliation of technical systems and equipment maintained by the ESC/ESO at its post of residence and constituent posts throughout the region. Assists with office administrative duties, travel arrangements, and tracking the office travel budget.
