Job Position-Senior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.), Excel, and other financial tools. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles (GAAP), and tax laws.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Problem Solving: Ability to analyse financial data, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions efficiently.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is favourable
Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing accurate financial reports. This role will also involve managing general accounting functions, financial analysis, budgeting, and helping the team implement best practices for financial processes.
