Job Position-1 Sales Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
1–3 years of direct sales experience. Experience selling advertising space (TV, radio, print, or digital media) or B2B corporate services is a massive advantage.
Experience in TV, Radio or digital media advertising is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies:
Highly persuasive with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
A thick skin to handle rejection and a relentless attitude toward closing deals
Confidence to present professionally to high-level corporate executives.
Fluency in spoken and written Amharic and English.
A strong familiarity with the business and commercial landscape of Ethiopia specially Addis Ababa
Key Responsibilities
Actively research, cold-call, and visit businesses (banks, real estate companies, FMCGs, retail brands, tech startups) to identify potential advertisers.
Conduct persuasive, face-to-face sales presentations to marketing managers and business owners, highlighting the value of advertising on Channel 1 TV.
Sell various advertising formats, including television commercial spots, program sponsorships and Social (Digital) media placements.
Maintain excellent, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business, handling their booking schedules and ensuring their ads air correctly.
Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly individual sales quotas set by management.
Keep track of competitor advertising activities and provide feedback to the production and management teams to help design more competitive packages.

Job Position-2Head of Sales & Marketing/Advertising
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media/Communications, or a closely related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, or advertising.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding aggressive commercial sales targets and negotiating high-value corporate contracts.
Deep familiarity with media buying metrics, broadcast scheduling, and the Ethiopian corporate and advertising landscape.
Skills
Exceptional negotiation, pitching, and relationship-management skills.
Strong strategic thinking and data-driven analytical capability.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Amharic.
