Job Position-Communication and Documentation Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Master’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Development Communication, Public Health, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in communication, documentation, or knowledge management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Amharic is required.
Demonstrated experience in report writing, content development, and documentation.
Experience managing websites and social media platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with graphic design, photography, videography, or multimedia tools is an asset.
experience with specific software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Video Editing software)
Core Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and high-quality writing skills.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Ability to translate complex research findings into simple messages for non-technical audiences
Familiarity with ethical communication and documentation practices, particularly regarding photography and videography in sensitive healthcare settings.
